COACHES!  Please check coaching tab (or USA Hockey website) for upcoming coaching clinics and if you need to take an on-line module this year, please make sure that you complete it before 12/31/12.

Thank you for volunteering your time with our organization.  We sincerely appreciate all that you do!  

The beginning of a new hockey season always brings a flurry of paperwork to complete.  Please complete the requirements by following the links below:

1.) Complete a coaching application (link found at the top of this page), and submit to Dennis Perpich, ACE Coordinator.  perpich3701@charter.net

2.)  Register as a coach with USA hockey. (DAHA will reimburse)

3.) Obtain proper certification for the level you will be coaching AND get a copy of your current card to Carrie Gunville (registrar).  You must also take the appropriate on-line module for the level you will be coaching.  You have until 12-31-2012 to complete or renew your certification.

4.) Do a MAHA backround check. (Mandatory to have any access to our skaters.  Must be done immediately!)

Upcoming coaching clinics can be found and registered for by clicking on http://www.usahockey.com/viewallclinics.aspx DAHA will reimburse approved coaches for certification classes.  Please give your receipt to RaeAnne Seat (Treasurer).  rseaths@yahoo.com  or mailbox in concession stand.

Every coach must register as a coach with USA hockey to be rostered to a team.  Do this by clicking on  http://www.usahockeyregistration.com/ , and submitting the $45 fee via credit/debit card.  DAHA will re-imburse coaches for this fee.  Please print off a copy of the barcode and submit to the registrar.  Without it you are NOT a coach.

For reimbursement you can: place a copy of the bar code in the mailbox (in the concession stand) of RaeAnne Seat, DAHA treasurer , or forward a copy to her via email. rseaths@yahoo.com

A copy (front and back)  of your most current coaching card must be given to the registrar.

Please click on the link https://www.maha.org/coachingbackgroundcheck.aspx  to complete the mandatory MAHA background check.  You will receive an email confirmation that needs to be printed and submitted to the registrar.
